CAST Work Programs
CAST forms ad hoc task groups and work programs around the following four focus areas:
- Policy
- Standards
- Pilot Projects
- Community, Communications, Education
Most task groups meet via monthly conference calls with additional calls scheduled as needed. Task group volunteers include university researchers and employees of aging services providers, companies, associations, and government agencies.
In nearly all cases, task group participants are CAST members. There are exceptions for government representatives and for other non-members with expertise needed by a specific task group. These individuals may be invited to participate after a completed application is reviewed by the task group chair and CAST staff. If you are interested in volunteering on a task group, please contact Majd Alwan.
